ABSTRACT

In summary, to identify and confront organizational racist practices, consider (1) an organizational cultural audit or self-study, using either the Cultural Competence Self-Assessment Instrument or the Cultural Competency Agency Self-Assessment, and (2) using the techniques available in Randall-David (1989) or Kretzmann and McKnight (1993) to fill organizational gaps and omissions and implement changes to intentional and unintentional organizational racism.
