ABSTRACT

Institutional change is always a challenging endeavor. Within any educational institution a wide range of values, beliefs, dispositions, and opinions must be considered and validated lest change not take root. Change agents must be aware of effective communication and create a strategy that takes into account the broad range of factors that impede intended progress (Ellsworth, 2000). Regardless of whether the object of change is an entire system or a simple procedure, creation, introduction, and implementation of the change will have a significant impact on its success.
