ABSTRACT
The two preceding chapters have dealt more with structural patterns, in the process of socialization itself and in the personality as a system, than with process. The aim of the present chapter is to take up more systematically than has yet been done, the analysis of the processes of learning themselves and the bearing of this analysis on the classification of the types of process which go on in the personality system at any stage of its development.
