ABSTRACT

I start this chapter by outlining my previous experience of giving supervision, and then describe the approach I use and the thinking that informs it. I then include accounts written by music therapists I am currently supervising who work in schools, and my brief reflections on the supervision work; I am very grateful to Andrea Casford, Dawn Loombe and Clare Rosscornes for taking the time to write these accounts. Finally, I reflect on common points outlined by the people I have supervised who work in schools.
