ABSTRACT
The team concept approach was developed out of concern for the well-being of older persons who were being referred to the Center. Its purpose was to evaluate and treat older persons utilizing professional staff, support agencies, family members and the client. The team consisted of a Geriatric Specialist, a Physician or Psychiatrist, a Social Worker, family members and the client (if able).
