ABSTRACT
Uncooperative patients can be extremely frustrating to the doctor or whoever is trying to help them. While usually ignored in text-book discussions of diagnosis and treatment, they are encountered all too often in practice. So it is important for the doctor or counselor to be prepared for such encounters.
