ABSTRACT

Dr. Holt was born in 1917. He received the Ph.D. degree in Psychology from Harvard University in 1943. He is a Fellow in Clinical Psychology of the American Psychological Association. He has taught at Harvard, American, and Kansas Universities. During World War II he was a study director with the Division of Program Surveys, USDA. Since 1947 he has been at the Menninger Foundation, where he is now Director of Psychological Staff. His work is largely in the fields of ego psychology and projective techniques. For the past four years he has been engaged in a cooperative research project on the assessment and selection of psychiatrists. He is an associate member of the Topeka Psychoanalytic Society, Chairman of the APA Clinical Division’s Committee on Publication Outlets in Clinical Psychology, Editor of the TAT Newsletter, and member of the editorial board of the Journal of Projective Techniques.
