ABSTRACT
The case history abstract was compiled by Dr. William L. Unger, who was also John Doe’s psychotherapist in the neuropsychiatric hospital. He was born in 1920. He received the B.S. degree in 1943 and the M.D. degree in 1946 from Marquette University. He is a Fellow in the American Medical Association and a member of the American Psychiatric Association. At present he is a staff Psychiatrist at the V.A. Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Los Angeles. His present activities include doing group psychotherapy with mental hospital patients, using a psychoanalytic orientation.
