ABSTRACT

Miss Aron was born in 1922. She was trained at the University of California at Berkeley and spent four years as a member of the staff of the Berkeley Public Opinion Study. Psychoanalytically oriented, her work has been largely in the fields of personality theory and its clinical application. Her TAT manual describes the research methods and general findings of extensive investigation with this technique. She is a collaborative author of The Authoritarian Personality. Her present research is concerned with the analysis of TAT records of adolescents collected by the staff of the Guidance Study of the Institute of Child Welfare in Berkeley.
