ABSTRACT

My philosophical history follows lines typical of the period through which I have lived: I have been through phases of Hegelianism, of Russellian realism, of Meinongian Gegenstandstheorie and Husserlian phenomenology. I was also deeply influenced by Wittgenstein. If my attitude to his teaching has become in some ways dissident, this does not mean that I am not immeasurably in debt to it.
