ABSTRACT
AKRSP is an NGO working in Gujarat, Western India, to promote and catalyse community participation in natural resources management. A number of village institutions supported by AKRSP viewed the strengthening of extension and training in agriculture and animal husbandry as important steps in raising farm incomes. AKRSP’s response falls into three broad phases.
