ABSTRACT
Turkish director Semih Kaplanoğlu's film Honey (Bal) (2010) won the Golden Bear at the 60th International Berlin Film Festival in 2010. 1 Honey is the last installment of Kaplanoğlu's trilogy Egg (Yumurta) (2007), Milk (Süt) (2008) and Honey (2010), also known as Yusuf's Trilogy, named after its main character. The trilogy narrates three stages (adulthood, youth and childhood, in that order) of a man's life.
