ABSTRACT
Projects, like other forms of collective economic and social endeavour, require people to work together in organizations. In this way they can achieve more than they can as individuals. Any discussion of project management must therefore give full treatment to organizations and the way people work within them because it is impossible to implement projects without working through organizations.
