ABSTRACT
Simon sits with his back against the window, in an apartment overlooking a busy street in Bukit Bintang. He is the current president of the Chin Refugee Centre (CRC), a refugee community-based organisation (CBO) formed to provide assistance to Chin ethnic minorities from Burma (Myanmar). 2 The apartment serves as its office and community centre; people move in and out constantly, seeking information and help with access to services.
