ABSTRACT

The Apristas were always very organized. They had [party] cells everywhere, where they trained their followers and planned their activities. We were never able to find their cells, or to discover how they communicated with each other. … But it cannot be denied that the Apristas were very disciplined, that they were totally committed to the party cause. They were fanatics. This is what made [APRA] different [from other parties]. This is why we could never defeat them.
