ABSTRACT
For our country the European Community presents an opportunity to influence world events once again by acting in consultation with all the most powerful nations in Western Europe. The best hope for Britain’s future lies in continued and successful membership of the European Community. We know that changes are needed, but we are more likely to achieve them if we seek allies within the Community rather than making enemies.
