ABSTRACT

In Russia the number of business schools is growing very fast. The most important task at present is to make managers develop a certain attitude towards their business activity, and, particularly, develop a desire to conduct business in a civilized way. If this task is to be performed, the experience gained by foreign managers must be regarded as very important. We can hardly expect to learn how to manage our economy by continuing to study foreign experience for many years. But this experience can be crucial in destroying outdated management stereotypes and approaches as well as in encouraging our managers to work in a new fashion.
