ABSTRACT
This chapter presents some of the unique issues facing professional service firms (PSFs) when marketing their services and developing a coherent corporate reputation. The management of corporate reputation is largely about the delivery mechanisms which are the 7Ps of services marketing and include: price, product and place, as well as people, physical evidence, process and promotion. The chapter presents some of the unique issues facing PSFs when marketing their services and developing a coherent corporate reputation. Corporate reputation focuses on what distinctive attributes are assigned to the organization. The firm formed the associations with organizations that connected with different constituencies of business clients across the firm such as: the London Chamber of Commerce and Walpole. Within PSFs, people play a critical role in influencing client perceptions of a service before, during and after a project has been delivered.
