ABSTRACT
This volume is a celebration of the perseverance, ingenuity, and talent of the librarians who have served, past and present, at the Holland Library reference desk. It is also dedicated to Pauline Lilje, our retired colleague and friend, who staffed the reference desk in various capacities from 1967 until she retired in 1996.
