ABSTRACT
In 1762 there was published in London The Students. A Comedy Altered from ‘Shakespeare’s Love’s Labour’s Lost, and Adapted to the Stage.’ The author is unknown, which is probably merciful. Genest says that it does not seem “to have been ever acted,” 1 which is certainly merciful.
