ABSTRACT
This volume brings together a number of articles that focus attention on the challenges of providing culturally-sensitive services to severely underserved people with HIV/AIDS in border communities, which include areas from Texas to California. Challenges abound due to language and cultural health-care beliefs and practices, lack of resources, stigma and fear of rejection from their communities and health-care providers on both sides of the border.
