ABSTRACT

Regina Romano Reynolds of the Library of Congress gave a wide-ranging presentation on the current state of cataloging. She praised the good things the catalog does, and pointed out problem areas and intractable problems. She proposed some solutions to the problem areas. Periodically in the presentation she asked for (and received) audience reactions and additional suggestions.
