ABSTRACT
During Part 2 of the workshop, Les Hawkins and Jean Hirons gave presentations about the changes to the AACR2 rules for the description of serials and for the concept of major/minor changes. The objective of the developing new rules is a desire for fewer new records and fewer new ISSNs. Harmonizing the rules for AACR, ISSN and ISBD was another objective.
