ABSTRACT

With the growing interest in multimedia development and use, both by students and faculty members, the need to locate moving image materials to illustrate these projects will grow as well. This article outlines the resources, both print and electronic, and strategies the reference librarian can use to assist the client in locating the desired materials, in libraries, stock footage libraries, or archives. The implications of incorporating copyrighted material into a multimedia project designed for non-commercial, educational use are also discussed.[Article copies available for a fee from The Haworth Document Delivery Service: 1-800-342-9678, E-mail address: <getinfo@haworthpressinc.com> Website: https://www.haworthpress.com" xmlns:xlink="https://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">https://www.haworthpress.com ]
