ABSTRACT
This volume concentrates on Asia’s capital markets, foreign direct investment (FDI), trade and industry, management and the performance of individual economic development in varied Asian economies. The countries covered in include those in both South East Asia, such as Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines and also North East Asia, such as Japan, Korea, China (and Hong Kong), These are analysed in a variety of ways and in a usefully comparative and historically grounded fashion.
