ABSTRACT
In March of 2006, the International Federation of Library Associations’ Standing Committee on Resource Sharing and Document Delivery compiled, approved, and released a new document to assist resource sharing departments world-wide with working to their highest potential. This new document is the IFLA Guidelines for Best Practices for Inter-library Loan and Document Delivery. i It is the hope of the IFLA Document Delivery and Resource Sharing Section that libraries around the world will find it a useful resource as they seek to continuously improve
