ABSTRACT
Would you like to get away from unappealing easels in the lobby and signs advertising services and events taped to the walls and service desks? Want to expand and enrich your traditional physical exhibits with multimedia content? As part of an effort to improve the appeal of the entrance area of our main library, Bowling Green State University Libraries installed a multimedia kiosk, similar to what you might find in a hotel lobby or convention center. This article discusses the capabilities for such a kiosk, how we have used it to date and our future plans for better utilizing its capabilities to further engage our users.
