ABSTRACT
The Denton Public Library is a growing system of three branches located approximately 35 minutes north of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. The library shares the town of Denton with two state universities, as well as a growing number of senior retirement homes. There are about 106,000 people in our service area, and these residents are spread out over urban and rural communities. There is a need to supplement the print collection with electronic resources due to the growing computer savvy of everyone from schoolchildren to senior citizens.
