Among Sraffa's manuscripts deposited in Cambridge, at Trinity College, is a document I believe to be highly interesting: about seventy pages with a title on the cover in Sraffa's own hand: ‘Notes/ London, Summer 1927/ Physical real costs, etc.’ 1
