ABSTRACT
The following chapter discusses three discernible areas. Initially it summarises the current scholarship in the area of tourism and ethics. Second, the chapter reviews and highlights some of the significant contributions made in the preceding chapters, focusing explicitly on the compromises and tensions faced by travellers making ethical decisions in tourism. Last, the chapter reviews opportunities for future research on the topic of ethical consumption in tourism.
