This is a reprint of a one-year introductory accounting textbook that was published in 1928 by The University of Chicago Press. An interesting note is that it was reviewed (December 1928, pp. 411–413) by W. A. Paton, who was the coauthor of another introductory text (with R. A. Stevenson).
