ABSTRACT
Physical macroeconomics is an interdisciplinary research direction dedicated to the study of physical and bio-developmental foundations of economy. This chapter introduces the basic concepts of physical macroeconomics, re-conceptualizing where value can be derived from the economy in an innovative manner assessing the added value of energy consumption.
