ABSTRACT
In the last chapter we examined the use of various strategies to minimise the need for specific heating and cooling equipment. But sometimes it is necessary to use additional energy for heating, ventilation and air conditioning. This chapter investigates strategies for doing so in as efficient and climate-friendly a manner as possible, including the various fuel and technology choices available.
