ABSTRACT
When asked by your secretary to prepare a paper for your society, the subject of Auditing was suggested to me as one which had not been recently taken up, and which was more needed than any other. I found, however, on looking over the records of the Society since its formation in 1883 that you have had no less than five Lectures on Auditing and Auditors, viz.:—
