ABSTRACT
In our issue of the 16th inst. we printed an extract from the Journal of Gas Lighting on this question, and commented on the same. The editor of that paper now draws our attention to the fact that this excerpt is only one of a series of articles that have appeared during the last few months in that journal; and, as he has furnished us with the copies of his paper containing these articles we append them, and shall comment on the same in another column:—
