ABSTRACT
Natural materials and the development of planet Earth are included within the subject of Earth science. It includes disciplines such as geology, meteorology, astronomy and hydrology and overlaps with geography and environmental studies. This chapter is about geology in that it describes how the Earth’s natural materials are classified, formed and used.
