ABSTRACT

Ethically literate research has the potential to enrich projects, and this chapter examines ways in which researchers can engage in ethical research partnerships with children and families. It first explores conceptual issues such as how researchers conceptualise children, digital media, and their nexus with an emphasis on embracing a strong image of the child. The chapter then details ethical issues, relevant frameworks, practical considerations, and examples which will assist researchers in building and sustaining respectful, supportive, and inclusive partnerships with children and families.
