Archaeological research developed in the Eastern Iberian Iron Age has shown the existence of hierarchical societies and with clear signs of uneven distribution of wealth during the fifth to third centuries BC. In this general framework, it is possible to propose regional variations and chronological oscillations that show different social dynamics among these Iberian groups. In this chapter, these social trajectories are analysed from the perspective of the dual-procedural theory that proposes the use of exclusionary or inclusive strategies in the framework of hierarchical societies. We will apply the concepts to the study of the settlement pattern, landscape organisation, funerary rituals and religious practises.
