ABSTRACT

This conclusion presents some closing thoughts on the concepts covered in the preceding chapters of this book. The book opens with a short statement describing the complexity and plurality of the design process and the highly collaborative matrix that emerges during the development of a design concept towards a fully resolved work. It seeks to test and reflect upon the curatorial projects of peers and colleagues in the context of the dedicated architecture and design exhibition, and it identifies a set of experimental curatorial mediation moves towards an accumulated body of knowledge for specialised practice. The book also provides a contribution to current practice and a series of critical leaping-off points for further investigation and debate. It provides a significant contribution to current practice by identifying a series of critical leaping–off points for ongoing examination and debate, in order to further develop the emergent and specialised practice of curating architecture and design.
