ABSTRACT
This chapter offers Shaffer's performance of The Adventures of Little Red Riding Hood as a case study for the creation of a general method of performing popular texts. By following Shaffer's performance method, creators, directors, and performers can explore how popular texts circulate in culture and how those texts uphold certain ideologies.
