ABSTRACT
This chapter investigates how recent migrants from Polish cities encounter diversity and navigate different urban infrastructures in British and German cities, as well as how they consequently use these new urban competences on return trips to their hometowns. The chapter focuses on the sense these migrants make of urban order and disorder and how this impacts the ways in which they orient their ways in both their new places of residence and the cities they left behind.
