ABSTRACT
This chapter identifies the clinical use and issues involved in the assessment of children and adolescents. It describes commonly used clinical instruments for assessing the following diagnostic conditions: attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder, depression and mood disorders, autism spectrum disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, and learning disorders. Case material illustrates the use of these assessments.
