ABSTRACT
Since my task is to comment on the outcomes of these papers, the first point I would like to stress is that they have strongly contributed to ‘denaturalizing’ things. After decades of denaturalization of other well-established dichotomies – like nature and culture, man and woman, and so on – we have now arrived at the point of confronting the world of things and its relationship with human beings. Indeed, the more we progress in research, the more we realize how artificial a category ‘things’ are.
