ABSTRACT

This chapter outlines how feminist sport psychologists can conceive of ethics in a way that encourages and guides their work in consulting, teaching, and research. The ethical considerations described here are proactive, positive, and relevant to current socio-cultural issues. These recommendations include acknowledging the politicism of sport and feminism, focusing on care, understanding the impact of intersectionality, and building research and teaching practices that highlight praxis. By engaging with these ethical recommendations, FSP can conduct research, teach, and consult with individuals in a way that emphasizes the well-being of everyone involved and work to make sport and academia more socially just institutions.
