ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses some common professional issues encountered when conducting neuropsychological assessments following brain injury or neurological illness, or within the context of mental health services. The chapter will discuss three broad areas: inter-disciplinary working, dissemination of results and competence in delivering assessments. Reflections are offered on how the experience of working in these settings has contributed to the ongoing development of the authors’ professional identity.
