ABSTRACT
As psychologists are continually developing as practitioners, supervision can be vital in facilitating the learning process. Trainee clinical psychologists are advised to utilise supervision to strengthen areas of weakness and avoid or rectify any mistakes made in clinical practice. However, as a process, supervision itself can encompass significant professional and ethical difficulties. This chapter aims to explore some of the potential difficulties that aspiring, trainee or qualified clinical psychologists may encounter during supervision.
