Mathematics teaching is an incredibly rewarding vocation. There is something special about steering pupils towards ‘aha!’ moments as they grasp mathematical ideas for the first time, helping them develop numeracy, fluency and logical thinking skills for life, exposing learners to mathematical relationships and applications, and finally equipping them to do their best in tests and examinations.
