ABSTRACT

I was 12 when I moved from prep school to senior school. The decision of which school to go to was, surprisingly, one which was discussed between my parents and myself. I was anxious about moving to a new school and wanted to go where some of my peers were also planning on going so that at least I would not be completely alone starting in a new, and bigger place than the one I had been used to. My mother wanted me to go to a boarding school which was not too far away from home, but the school I wanted, and finally did go to, was about an hour-and-a-half away. The requirement was sitting a common entrance exam which I did in the Easter term.
