ABSTRACT

This chapter studies the Silverstone Interactive Museum, which is located at the home of British motor racing. The museum aims to promote the heritage of British motor racing in a way that is highly appealing to young people. Technology is used not only for entertainment purposes, but also for education. To this end the Silverstone Interactive Museum operates a STEMM education programme in partnership with local schools. Overall, the chapter examines how the technological methods used will effectively perverse the heritage of the sport for future generations.
