ABSTRACT

This chapter devotes much thought to the seven ethical-political principles of the Zapatista autonomies as a way to conduct the authors' life and relations. It proposes to use them as a guide to make decisions about our sexual and affective practices, and more recently to fight against the violence committed against us. The chapter encloses the poster with this proposal, and hopefully this CarteArte will be looked at and find its way through feelings and thoughts (sentipensares), and will eventually fly back and be transformed by each one of this 'us' that makes a 'we'. It suggests to make the answers/proposals/stakes among us neither 'private' nor 'public', but collective with multiple recipients, with many of us writing and reading. The chapter speaks to us because that's the site where we can start building worlds wherein life can flourish without fear, where our vulnerability and persistence is acknowledged.
